These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mugoo application and services operated by Muvelan Private Limited (“Mugoo”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use Mugoo. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
2. What Mugoo is
Mugoo is a marketplace and technology intermediary that connects pet owners with independent third-party providers — groomers, veterinary professionals, trainers, boarding facilities and pet-transport handlers. Providers are not our employees. We facilitate discovery, booking, payment and coordination; the actual services are delivered by the providers.
3. Accounts & verification
You access Mugoo using your phone number verified via OTP. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for activity that occurs under it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Bookings & payments
- Prices are shown in the app before you confirm a booking and may include applicable taxes and platform/travel fees.
- Payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway. By paying, you authorise the applicable charge.
- We issue a digital invoice for completed transactions.
5. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellation windows and any applicable charges are shown at the time of booking. Eligible refunds are processed back to your original payment method through our payment gateway. Refund timelines depend on the gateway and your bank.
6. Port My Pet (pet transportation)
For pet-transport bookings, pickup and delivery are confirmed using one-time codes, and live tracking is available during the trip. You are responsible for providing accurate pickup/drop-off details and for disclosing any special needs, health conditions or temperament concerns about your pet. Handlers may decline or pause a trip where an animal's or a person's safety is at risk.
7. Health & veterinary disclaimer
Veterinary services are provided by independent, qualified professionals. Mugoo does not itself practise veterinary medicine. Content in the app, including guidance from Mu (our AI assistant), is for general information only, is not medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional veterinary diagnosis or treatment. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian directly.
8. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and lawful, respectful conduct toward providers and handlers.
- Ensure your pet is fit for the booked service and that required vaccinations are up to date where relevant.
- Do not misuse the Platform, attempt to defraud, or circumvent in-app payments.
9. Ratings & content
You may submit ratings, reviews and photos. Keep them honest and lawful. You grant us a licence to display such content in connection with the Platform. We may remove content that is abusive, misleading or unlawful.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mugoo is not liable for the acts or omissions of independent providers, and our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Muvelan Private Limited against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
